Compassionate Care From Professionals Who Treat Your Pets Like Family
At Peace for Paws, our work is grounded in empathy, expertise, and a deep respect for the bond you share with your beloved companion. End-of-life care requires sensitivity, skill, and heart. Our team is dedicated to providing exactly that. Together, Dr. Andrew Arriola, DVM, and Maribel Aguiar, Veterinary Assistant, ensure that every family feels supported, informed, and cared for during one of life’s most emotional moments.

We’re honored to guide you through this process with compassion and clarity.

Dr. Andrew Arriola, DVM
Veterinarian & Founder, Peace for Paws

Veterinarian, Animal Hospital of South Bay
From a very early age, Dr. Andrew Arriola, DVM, knew he wanted to become a veterinarian. His childhood love for animals quickly grew into a lifelong calling, one that led him to a meaningful career in veterinary medicine. As a Torrance, CA native, he feels privileged to serve the community he grew up in, providing gentle, thoughtful care for pets and their families.

Dr. Arriola began his academic journey at Cal Poly Pomona, later earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. During his studies, he was shaped by influential mentors who reinforced the values he leads with today: compassion, responsibility, and respect for the human–animal bond.
In addition to founding Peace for Paws, Dr. Arriola serves as a veterinarian at Animal Hospital of South Bay, where he continues to provide exceptional medical care for pets and support for their families. His work in both settings allows him to blend clinical expertise with a deeply personal approach to care.
Known for his calm, reassuring presence, Dr. Arriola creates an environment where both pets and their families feel at ease. He believes that communication is essential; especially during end-of-life care, and he ensures families understand every step of the process with clarity and kindness. His commitment to the Veterinarian’s Oath guides his decisions each day, including the privilege of helping families honor their pets’ peaceful final moments.
Dr. Arriola is an active member of the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association (SCVMA) and remains committed to continued education to provide the highest quality of care.
When he’s not supporting families through Peace for Paws, he enjoys time with his two beloved pets: Smudge, his cat, and Akela, his spirited Siberian Husky. Outside of veterinary medicine, he stays grounded through fitness, the gym, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
